Pancreatitis is a fairly common disease. A characteristic feature of this disease is acute pain in the stomach, as well as a violation of the quality of the pancreas.

A special (therapeutic) diet has been developed to treat this disease. It only contains a specially selected menu and permitted foods. They do not harm the affected organism. What does a sample menu look like for a week?

1. Diet against chronic inflammation of the gland

With a disease like pancreatitis, a frugal diet is prescribed that completely excludes the use of alcoholic beverages, sweet, fatty, fried foods, as well as foods that contain rough fiber, simple carbohydrates, and extracts. Nutritionists recommend consuming food up to 6 times a day. The serving size should be small so that it is better absorbed and not overloading the pancreas.

Food should be steamed, boiled or steamed. In rare cases, they can be baked. Before use, it must be cooled to a temperature of 30 degrees. This way you can avoid stomach irritation.

While on a diet, grains, vegetable soups, boiled / fresh vegetables, dried bread, meat, boiled eggs, poultry and fish (only low-fat varieties are allowed), dairy products, non-sour berries and fruits, flour products, creamy / vegetable oils are allowed, Natural jelly, fresh juices and compotes.

Don't forget water. It is recommended to consume up to 2 liters of clean water per day. It will restore balance and improve bowel function.

During the exacerbation of the disease, you should minimize or eliminate the use of carbonated water. In addition, canned goods, strong broths, fast food, smoked / spicy foods, rolls, cocoa, sour berries and fruits, marinades, coffee, cakes, eggs in the form of fried or soft-boiled eggs, fatty meat, fish.

2. Diet rules

There are a number of rules that must be followed:

  • Eat only one consistency of food (it is best if it is uniform);
  • Keep your portions small;
  • Completely exclude smoked, sweet, fried, salty foods from the diet;
  • Try to eat as little fresh food (e. g. vegetables) as possible.
  • Drink as much fluids as possible (water, green tea, decoctions).

The nutritional rules for the acute course of the disease are similar to the chronic version. In the chronic course of the disease, fasting lasts for several days (up to).

Monday

On the first day, it is best to skip eating altogether. Only water is consumed throughout the day. If acute pain does not bother the patient, a sample menu can look like this:

  • You can drink a glass of green tea for breakfast (you can add a teaspoon of honey to the drink). 150 grams of semolina or rice porridge are also allowed;
  • For the second breakfast you can have pumpkin puree (50 g), a steamed fish or a chicken schnitzel or a rose hip drink.
  • For lunch you can have vegetable or chicken broth with a small crouton of bread.
  • For an afternoon snack, you can have a glass of kefir or jelly.
  • Dinner consists of a steamed omelette and beetroot salad.
  • Before going to bed, you can drink a glass of water with honey.

Tuesday

If the pancreatitis is painless, you can cook any porridge for breakfast (semolina, oatmeal or buckwheat).

  • The first breakfast consists of oatmeal boiled in milk, a piece of cheese and a glass of jelly (with no added sugar).
  • For lunch you can eat 100 grams of cottage cheese (1% fat), which can be mixed with an apple.
  • For lunch you can eat boiled rice with a piece of fish. It absolutely needs to be dampened;
  • For an afternoon snack, you can eat applesauce or carrot puree.
  • Dinner can consist of a diet vinaigrette with a small piece of bread (this can be replaced with bread).

Wednesday

  • On the third day of the diet, it is already allowed to eat salads of apples and beets, seasoned with sour cream (it should be low in fat). You can drink green tea.
  • For lunch you can have buckwheat porridge with a small piece of butter and bread.
  • Lunch consists of rice soup and 2 pieces of cheese.
  • For an afternoon snack, you can drink a glass of fermented baking milk or kefir.
  • For dinner, a person can prepare mashed potatoes (without added milk), bake vegetables and eat a slice of bread.

Thursday

  • For breakfast you can eat oatmeal, which is prepared with a small piece of butter. Mineral water is also allowed;
  • For lunch you can have an omelette and a steamed schnitzel. Alternatively, you can also drink a glass of milk (fat percentage 1 or 2. 5%);
  • At lunchtime you can have a bowl of soup with a small piece of fish. As a side dish, you can cook zucchini or carrots;
  • You can bake an apple for an afternoon snack.
  • Dinner consists of cottage cheese rice pudding and weak tea (you can add milk).

Friday

  • In the morning you can eat congee and a boiled egg (it must be without the yolk);
  • The second breakfast consists of tea and a small piece of cheese.
  • Lunch can consist of homemade noodle soup, pumpkin porridge or carrot porridge. You can also have a glass of milk or tea;
  • An afternoon snack consists of low-fat cottage cheese with the addition of sour cream.
  • During dinner you can indulge yourself with a vegetable salad that is refined with oil (preferably olive oil), a baked apple and a glass of tea with a teaspoon of sugar.

Saturday

  • For your first breakfast you can prepare an omelette that is steamed with vegetables. The prepared dish can be supplemented with a glass of milk;
  • For the second breakfast you can cook buckwheat porridge with fish (cooked).
  • You can enjoy milk soup and green tea for lunch.
  • For an afternoon snack, you can have a rosehip drink.
  • For dinner, you can cook vegetables with potatoes (boiled), fruit jelly or pudding.

Sunday

After the symptoms of the disease have subsided, you can diversify your menu.

  • For breakfast you can have a small piece of bread with butter and cottage cheese. You can drink anything with a glass of green tea;
  • If a person is in mild pain, you can cook a small piece of chicken with carrots for lunch. Alternatively, you can eat a small piece of bread. You can drink it with unsweetened tea or mineral water;
  • For lunch you can have vegetable soup, mashed potatoes and a boiled schnitzel. Of drinks, unsweetened tea or kefir is allowed;

  1. Steamed cutlets. For cooking we need chicken breast (approx. 200 g), wheat bread (30 g), milk (3 tablespoons), a small amount of oil (preferably olive oil), a pinch of salt. All components must be mixed. Form schnitzel from minced meat. Put them in a water bath, pour water and close the lid. Cook until cooked.
  2. rose hip drink. To make this broth, you need to consume 0. 5 kg of fruit and 4 liters of water. We wash the rose hip and fill it with water. Let it steep for four days. You don't have to boil the drink, the rose hip should be infused at room temperature. This drink is high in vitamin C. Due to the fact that the drink is very acidic, it is advisable to consult your doctor before drinking it.
  3. Vegetable soup. To prepare the soup you will need pepper (1 piece), broccoli, a small zucchini and cauliflower. The vegetables must be washed and cut into cubes. Pour vegetables with water (1. 5 liters) and cook until completely cooked. The water is drained (but not all). Using a mixer, transfer the soup to a puree state.
  4. Fish soup. For cooking we need to take 0. 5 kg of low-fat fish (you can use cod, pikeperch or pike), pour water and set it on fire. It must be cooked until completely cooked. After that, the fish must be separated from the bones and chopped in a blender. Add a little butter to the warmed milk and wait for it to melt completely. After that, the broth is brought to a boil. It is important that the broth does not boil. Put fish in it and cook for a few more minutes. Our soup is ready.
